Ward's of Pelahatchie

My brother in Christ, if you want to firebomb your throne worse than 1940s Tokyo then this is the SPOT. The chilly cheese dogs and burgers with onions. OMG absolutely dripping with flavor and grease. I havent had a cleansing like that since I was baptized. 3/5 stars in atmosphere because its a Wards in pelahatchie MS. DONT change this. It feels like 1994 all over again with the classic interior and the little TV in the corner and calling out the orders over the intercom. Theyre also super friendly. Will be a regular here 🍔🍟🌭

I stopped at the Ward’s in Pelahatchie while driving from Texas to Birmingham, saving my appetite specifically for one of their chili dogs. I’ve always enjoyed them—especially at the Hattiesburg locations —so I was really looking forward to it. Unfortunately, what I received was the worst chili dog I’ve ever seen. The moment I opened the wrapper, I noticed it looked unappetizing and smelled burnt. I didn’t even attempt to eat it. I couldn’t believe something in that condition would be served to a customer. I’ve never had an experience like this at any other Ward’s, which makes it even more disappointing. “Disappointed” is truly an understatement today. If I could give this location zero stars, I would.

Went with my kids to grab breakfast at 8:10, October 4, everything was great until the girl grabbed my card, wiped her snotty nose open palmed, handed my card back to me with same hand, without wiping away her snot, and also handed me my food. There was no trying to walk away and clean her hand just blatantly being nasty. Handling customers personal cards and food like that right in front of them no less is something I have never seen before.

We had excellent food and customer service. It was so good we came back twice in one week. Root Beer Floats were out of sight! ✺◟(∗❛ัᴗ❛ั∗)◞✺

It’s so bad, not sure how people handle the toughness. I’ve heard it’s good in the morning but I don’t have time to try. But the fist and last time I had it, worst burger I’ve ever eaten. So dry. Just tasteless, no flavor, will never be back.
