Ward Manor At Buck Mountain

I just googled Ward Manor to check out the pictures of the addition that they made to their venue and was very surprised and sad to see a set of poor reviews they had received from a recent wedding on both Yelp and Google. Our daughter was married there a few months ago, and it was a wonderful experience. I had posted a review three months ago on Ward Manor’s Facebook page, and I’ll now post it here just to make sure people get as many reviews as they can. I don’t know the details of what caused the bad reviews except for what I read. I would like to comment on one of the criticisms—the fact that the bride-to-be felt she had to clean the tables and chairs the day before the wedding. This venue is basically an outdoor venue. Never a bad visit here. From the amenities to the location, everything is always top notch. The owners made us feel like a part of their extended family, and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. I do not believe the negative reviews - some people are never happy. We have been happy with this lovely place and will keep visiting as long as they will have us.

Don't have a wedding here. My friend had her wedding here and they tried to charge her a bunch of extra money at the last minute, stuff she hadn't agreed to. So when she protested the manager got really aggressive. To retaliate he sat on the front porch and glared at wedding guests and wouldn't let people use the bathroom. What a nut job.

AaaaaaaMAZING! Gorgeous house and even prettier property. Unmatched views, manicured property and wildlife all around. The cabin was so comfy and perfectly accomodating for us. HIGHLY recommend:)
