Wang's Gourmet

This place is not even mid. I live across the street, I can pickup by walking to it in 5 minutes. I'm used to NY style Chinese food from Florida or New Jersey. I don't know what this even is. The rice isn't even cooked properly. I can cook rice better myself. I've been twice and it's been horrible. Never going back. I'm starting to think Denver can't do Chinese food. You can get frozen general taos chicken and frozen pork fried rice at King Soopers that ismt great, but it's better than this.

Moved to Centennial in the Fall and have been looking for my go-to Chinese spot; this was the fourth place I’ve tried and I’ve finally found it. Delicious and classic. A lot of places I’ve found around here lean very sweet in general with their dishes, Wangs is the first I’ve had that has this dialed in. Happy to have found a great spot

This place has been around for longer than I've lived in the West, but it seems to have seen better days. Ill kept bathrooms, filthy windows, and food that, unfortunately, is below par. My dining partner and I had lunch specials on a recent weekday. Her sesame chicken looked quite nice, but my Sichuan shrimp was bland and had four shrimp. I know costs are high these days, and prices at this place are very reasonable, but come on!

We always liked the Egg Foo Young from Wang's, however this last time we ordered they changed the recipe and are now adding breading filler to the egg patty to make them bigger. They may be bigger, but they taste terrible. Disappointing, will not be back.

Food is atrocious, below mediocre. "Fried rice" is not fried, is cold white rice microwaved with some soy and as bland as it can be. Have you all heard of salt or msg? The bbq pork was dry to the point of suspecting it was nuked from yesterday's pork chop. The pork wonton was the size of my pinky nail and 95% wrapper. It was 1/8 of an oz. Literally a pinch of pork. We didn't eat our food it went in the garbage disposal. These guys are terrible cooks and rip you off. Don't waste your money here. As with 90% of restraunts nowadays, if we accept mediocrity at inflated prices thats what we'll continue to get.
