Wander at LongWoods

First time here! Thanksgiving spread was out of this world 🙏🏻 We are so stuffed and happy and can’t wait to revisit in the summertime. The ham, might be the best ham i’ve ever had. Kudos to the chef and team for curating a delicious and festive feast. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👌🏻

5/5 ⭐️ ALL AROUND. Amazing experience, atmosphere, service, drinks and food. Live music playing (went on a Thursday), sun was shining and the breeze made for a beautiful evening. As someone visiting Maine, I’m thankful to have stumbled upon this gem! Now to spread the knowledge, this is a must visit if you’re in the area! FYI - very kid friendly 🤍

Whole experience was absolutely devine! Staff was warm and welcoming from the moment I entered the restaurant to when I left. I sat at the chef’s counter and I was not disappointed. Wonderful experience watching the chefs prepare the food. The head chef came over to me multiple times to check in. He was happy to explain how the food was prepared and where it was from. The food itself activated taste buds I didn’t know existed. I will be back again in the near future!

If you’re thinking about it… just make a reservation and go — you won’t regret it. Wander at LongWoods is a magical place that embodies the spirit of Maine. We visited during the winter and had the most wonderful dining experience, so much so that we are already planning our next visit for the summer. I can’t wait to sit outside and enjoy everything this place has to offer. Located inside LongWoods preserve, with miles of trails and even a farm, Wander is all about sustainability, local ingredients, and an authentic farm-to-table experience. From the moment we drove into the preserve, the beautiful exterior of the restaurant took us aback. You can tell that much thought and energy went into this project. For WANDER I wish you could give 6 stars. The most innovative menu that I’ve seen in awhile. The Scottish Rowi - what?? Sit at the chef’s bar and let him pick for you!! We had a great time walking around to see the farm, great cocktails and then fabulous dinner. Worth the drive out of town. Super pretty piece of land and very relaxing.
