Walpole Public Library

A brand-new eco friendly building with slick airport-style design. It's shockingly spacious - I actually got lost while I was looking around! It offers lots of amenities and services, and is overall pretty good for a town like Walpole.

Daughter and I saw the librarian grab a child by the arm at a group the other day. We were there weekly but I won’t be exposing my grandkids to that woman again. Second time we have seen her do something we didn’t like. One of my grandkids asked us why she grabbed the boy for dancing. We used it to teach them about autonomy and telling us if anyone ever touches them. We had to explain that dancing at groups is always okay. We weren’t going to leave a review but then we felt we would want to know if we were new to the library with kids .

Tried to go in to print some paperwork. The employee downstairs was so nice and helpful, told me to talk to the lady upstairs. As soon as I asked if I could print something you could tell I was bothering her. Asking me a question, and getting annoyed with me because I had said the wrong thing. All while my 4 year old was there. Very unprofessional and uninviting not how someone at a library should treat someone. (Happened at 645pm 9/4)

This is one of the best secret places to work away from the office. They are open long hours during the week. They have a fantastic resale section. The staff is always so helpful. This is crown jewel for the Town of Walpole. I always tour home buying clients the Walpole Public Library. The photo below is the view from one of my favorite spots.
