Walnut Waters Bed & Breakfast

I had a lovely weekend stay, the breakfast was amazing, it was so peaceful, comfy bed, great shower. The owners are attentive and kind, the grounds are spacious and beautifully kept.

Great stay. This was booked as a last minute opportunity to get away for a night to celebrate our 24th anniversary. The property is a peaceful retreat and beautifully kept up. Breakfast was wonderful and the hosts entertained my wife’s request for a fire the prior evening and sat with us to enjoy it. If you’re looking somewhere to get away that’s very quiet and peaceful, you’ll find it here. The owners also have a small event center at the front of their property that can be used for a variety of things, including scheduled murder mystery dinners that they do.

The special blend seasonings and style care of the hashbrown egg baskets for breakfast were Chef quality. My dietary needs were no problem. So enjoyed the country charm style in a modern setting. Loved our walk over bridge and down to the pond with a fountain and the gazebo with rocking chairs. So peacefully quite away from the city. Really needed another day to enjoy all the activities available.

Wonderful atmosphere for relaxation and reset from a busy life. Great owners hard working and professional. Very clean rooms and well manicured property. Amazing food we left feeling very spoiled and happy. Fun to watch wildlife and see all the walnut trees. Watch out for the grumpy groundhog that lives under the bridge, he’s real smart and sassy around the squirrels.

My spouse and I took a 4th of July weekend getaway at Walnut Waters Bed and Breakfast. It was excellent, from the picturesque grounds to the wonderful accommodations and delicious breakfast. It is close enough to Lees Summit to go out on the town. Would recommend!
