Walnut Tree Restaurant

Several years ago I came here and wasn't that impressed. I recently decided to come here again to try other items. I'm the past month I've tried several dishes and each time I've been pretty impressed. So the last time I was here the portions were a lot smaller. Now the portions are bigger, the taste is great and value is awesome. I've tried the mapo tofu, tomato beef, Mongolian Beef daily specials and today I tried the Wor Wonton Soup. Everything was so delicious. The wonton soup is very filling as well with the chicken, shrimp, bbq pork, veggies and wontons. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for something tasty, filling and a good value.

Got a Shrimp Lo mein for takeout, the box weighed like 5 pounds. Very hefty portion and the lo mein and the shrimp were really good. 10/10 would come back again.

we've been to eat twice now. first for dinner we got the green beans and pork chop with spicy salt. everything was fresh and delicious. then we went for the lunch special that's under $10 dollars for soup, egg roll, wonton, you choice of entree and rice. it's pretty amazing to find a lunch special for that price and have the food be nutritious and wholesome. I will say the food is traditional don't come here looking for a sterile americanized version. It's delicious and this small family owned business deserves more traffic

Small whole in the wall. Good food. The orange chicken was the best. Dark meat. Not too sweet. Sweet n sour had white meat. So it was kinda dry. Mongolian beef very chewy and kind of sweet. Has a lot of onions. Good portions though.

First time here and so glad we stopped to try it! We arrived about a half hour before they closed but they never made us feel like we had to hurry. Even after they closed, the staff sat down and ate, which was nice because they still didn’t say we had to leave. The food was quick to come out and it was delicious! The prices are very reasonable. You get large enough portions to share. We will definitely be back to try their other dishes!
