Wallace, NC Deli. Approached counter, employee asked what I needed, told it would be 10 minutes. Told her I would walk around and come back. Came back, same employee recognized me and told me she” referring to unseen other employee “ didn’t drop the food and she was going to lunch, the deli was closed. And just like that she was done with customer service. Not a good practice or character when service is your career of choice.
