Walmart Bakery

My daughter wanted a dragon cupcake cake for her birthday (random, but okay!) and I called around to a few specialty cupcake places first. No one could make what I was hoping for. I left a few inspiration pictures with WalMart and asked for whatever they could do. Holy smokes did they deliver! I got the most GORGEOUS dragon cupcake cake I’ve ever seen, above and beyond my inspo pictures, and for a heck of a deal! We will definitely be coming back!!

My order wasn’t made. Quite disappointed that I didn’t have my cupcakes for my kids last soccer game.

I can smell the bakery in the morning. They have great prices for basic fresh bread. I am particularly fond of the Italian loaf. I am sad though - since Covid, they have not brought back the variety of donuts they had prior to the shutdown. And you can’t pick your own dozen or buy individual donuts like you used to be able to. My kids favorite Christmas gift used to be a Walmart gift card that was obviously to be used for donuts every time we went to the store. They loved having their own “credit card” exclusively for donuts! They had a cute gift cards too with donuts on them, so it was easy to recognize exactly what their Christmas gift card was intended to be used for!
