Wally's Bagel Nosh

This weekend we had a wonderful midday celebration at our home for 40 people. We picked up the meticulously and beautifully prepared delicious platters and bagels from Wally’s in Closter. Ordering was easy and the owner had excellent advice on what to order and what the cost options are for re. I felt comfortable texting him afterwards but decided to also share my thoughts here: Wally: Just wanted you to know everything was great and you got many compliments. Many people asked where we got the food. It was soooo good and well presented. We got exactly what we ordered plus he threw in a few free extras! Good tasting bagels. Good and fast service. Nice indoor seating Awesome logo based on the Wallyworld Theme park logo from the first Vacation movie in the 1980s. Price is a bit on the expensive side. Should be $7.50 for 6 bagels which is the price for Teaneck Hot Bagels. Wally's charges $9. As far as the flavor of the cinnamon raisin and the plain bagels here at Wally's, they were good and fresh. Well above average and almost as good as Cresskill Hot Bagels. Reducing the price for 6 bagels will make me return a lot more often. Keeping the price at $9 or higher will easily push me to Teaneck Hot Bagels. At least it is $1 cheaper here than Cresskill for the half dozen.

This is a very 3-star type of place. Firstly, bacon egg and cheese is both more expensive than the one at Bagels Royale, and worse in quality. The only plus is that there's a decent amount of sitting space here and the strip mall isn't half bad. But the second, I just can't understand what this place wants to be. Is it a deli? or a convenience/snack store. There's variety, sure, but from my limited experiences here, its not that good.

Wally catered my daughters bat mitzvah and did an incredible job. The food was delicious.

Absolutely love this bagel store! The service is fantastic, and the bagels are soft, fresh, and incredibly tasty. The owner is wonderful and truly cares about customers, which shows in the excellent customer service every time. And the breakfast sandwiches? Delicious—hands down some of the best around. Highly recommend stopping by! 🥯
