Wah Gwaan Jerk

This place is phenomenal!!! I got lunch 2 days in a row. Everything is delicious, price & size are lovely and they’re super cool here. It’s hard to find plantains this good. They’re soft and sweet with a nice thin crisp layer on the outside. This is one of those places that if you’re local you’re lucky to have in your area.

Me and my dad decided to go try this place out and I tell you what.For the price, you will not be disappointed at all. With the taste and the quantity of food that you get on just one plate. It's definitely got a kick to it. But everything was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend this. If you like spicy jerk food, this is definitely the spot. We tried both the chicken and the pork the mac and cheese and the steamed vegetables are both excellent as well and whatever the cornbread doll thingy they have is sweet and kind of like having a dessert on the side. I definitely highly highly recommend going there. At least once and try it. Make sure you're prepared and I advise if you're just eaten as a couple, only get one plate. Especially if you are a light eater.

Thought there would be more robust flavors based on the reviews/ratings but everything was cooked exceptionally well. The Mac and cheese is special. A very good option for something different in Navarre.

OMG. Get the One Love plate. The food is so delicious! The pork and chicken jerk are the absolute best I’ve ever tasted and the Mac and cheese is delish. Owners are so nice. Please visit.

Love this place! The portions are silly big! You might have to wait a little bit but trust me it’s worth it! There is a spot for you to eat and a small pavilion connected to the Navarre park with a bunch of picnic tables. Great views of the sunset.
