Wagyukushi

I tried Wagyu Kushi when we went to a Don Don Donki in Singapore and remember liking it. So when I saw it at this location, I wanted to try it here. We only got the skewers (2 for $12.99). We waited maybe about 10 minutes. The person cooking was just churning them out because it seemed like there were a lot of lunch orders since it was prime lunchtime. I liked the little sauce it came with - it had a lot of umami. It's best eaten immediately while still hot since it's pretty fatty, and cold fatty/oily foods are pretty gross. Would definitely get some more skewers next time I come back!

We had the skewer lunch plate and the steak lunch plate. Both were very tasty and prepared quickly. The macaroni salad was decent, lighter than other places. The fresh lettuce that came with the lunch plate tasted very good with the steak. It had a nice long counter to eat your plates, but we opted for the general eating area, which was so much better than the eating area of Wagyukushi in Honolulu.

Got 5 skewers. They seemed a bit over seasoned, maybe because thr grill wasn't cleaned? Inconsistent salt and pepper. Overcooked, expected seared with a medium, medium rare middle. Gristle was also left on the meat.... Tasted good even over seasoned but not worth the price.

We ordered Wagyu beef skewers. It’s layers of thin slices lean meat and pure fat pieces interbedded. We picked off more than 60% fat pieces, the lean piece were very tough. Never go back again

Pretty good service, price, and food. The meat kind of had a lot of fat, but you can’t really expect much from a $6 skewer. It was good nonetheless and the sauce was a perfect combo. I wouldn’t go out of my way to get it but it’s a nice treat when I’m at the store.
