Waffle House

I've had the pleasure of dining at many Waffle Houses, and I must say, this is one of the best. The staff is incredibly energetic, exuding a powerful and efficient vibe. Today, I was served by Katy, a spectacular young woman with a stunning figure, elegant demeanor, and delicate tattoos. Her angelic voice added a touch of grace to this already incredible location. My compliments to the chain - this Lafayette branch is, without a doubt, the best. Wishing you all a wonderful day!

I really do hate to leave bad reviews. I really do. But this was one of the worst experiences at a restaurant I’ve had. The place was absolutely FILTHY. I ordered the sausage, egg and cheese hashbrown bowl… the hashbrowns weren’t even cooked. The outer edges were browned and crispy but the rest was just cold and lip like noodles. Not even sure they were really hashbrowns 🤮. My daughter ordered a waffle (which she said was yummy), a side of bacon which was only half way cooked and her side of hashbrowns were barely cooked as well. We were polite, paid for our food and left, but we will never be going back. And for this place to still be on the newer side, I guess I expected a little more.

Went to this location for the first time today. Upon walking in the floors were very sticky and dirty. The staff seemed to be spaced out all standing around in a daze for whatever reason. Had to ask to be helped. Was just picking up some take out. Food was good and was all cooked correctly. Much better than other Waffle House experiences in the area.

Decided to go to the Youngsville location. Surprisingly, this one was a little bigger than most of the ones I have been to. It was clean. I just had to wait for a booth. I will say there is some empty space that could have been utilized for a 2-person small booth, maybe even 2, and still leave room for the chairs that are set for pick up orders or waiting customers. The food was really good. Love how it is made when you order and right in front of everyone! Ordered a hashbrown bowl, no meat, extra scrambled egg. My husband got a regular plate of eggs, hashbrowns, toast, and crispy bacon with a coffee. Waitress was really nice. Staff stayed busy and hurried to clean tables for waiting customers.

Had two hairs in my bowl plus a piece of paper how I don't know. Had just ordered my food my grits was hard. I am upset because I'm not able to make a phone call to them "it's only ordering online" so they don't take calls. Now me and my baby in here with no food and 20$ spent.
