Waffle House

My family decided to come dine in today. Our server was very nice and attentive so that was a plus. Our food came out on time and was hot. The only thing I didn't like was one of the cooks took off her gloves to answer her phone and then once she was done put those same gloves back on without even washing her hands. I was waiting to see if she was the one to fix our food, cause had she been the one to fix our food I would have just got up and left and declined the food. Another issue I had was that my husband always buy the Christmas coffee mugs and he ask the manager since he was going to buy the mug will he be able to get the coffee for free and the nerve of the manger telling him if he buys two of those $8 cups he will give him some coffee. Waffle house is typically consistent food, this was no exception. You know what you're getting. Service was great, Micheal our server was polite and provide quick service. The entire staff was upbeat and welcoming.

Food was delicious, hot, and fresh. Customer service was decent, but this Waffle House is dirty. The floors look like they hadn’t been swept, flys flying around, smears all over the windows, and it was super muggy.

This was my first time at a Waffle House and I’m not sure I’ll be giving it another try, at least not at this location. Aside of our server which was friendly everybody else was rude, the place is small and seemed like it could use some deep cleaning, the food was not great and we were missing a dish which we didn’t realized until we got back to the house. We were visiting family and just wanted to grab something quick to share with them and we were not impressed. I hope this was just one of those off days for the staff and not the general experience because if so, they are not friendly to out of towners. There is also ongoing construction going on at the motel next door and the road so it feels kind of crowded and I’m sure when the equipment is going is more loud. I was very disappointed

Its Sunday at 1530. Its quiet here. Food was great. Everything was nicely made. Taste great and didn't take long.
