Waffle House

Thanksgiving 2025 breakfast was awesome thanks to my male server Shawn. Wish I could have tipped more! Portions was enough to take back to the room at a reasonable price.

The steak i ordered was cooked really well. The service was nice. 3 people working tonight. But be prepared to eat your steak with your hands. Was never given silverware, and all 3 of the workers made eye contact with me while I was tearing my steak in pieces and eating it with my hands. As evident in my pictures not one piece of silverware. No fork, knife, or even spoon. Maybe it was because my wife ordered a sandwich, with was also very good. Maybe that is the reason I did not get silverware. Was not offered a refill on my drink even though it was empty half way through my meal. Presented the problem to the manager on duty, she just tilted her head and said oh well. Still had to pay $21, again no silverware and no refill, and no adjustment to my bill. Hannah was very kind and attentive, I didn’t even have to ask for a refill before she got me one. Ricky cooked my food deliciously and it came out so quickly and hot that it was still steaming when I was ready for a to go container.

I was in there this evening and the atmosphere was electric. From Sam’s wild stories to Jess walking out mid-shift and don’t forget the guy that walked in with an ice cream cone.Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area. The first stop of our 2025 road trip: WAFFLE HOUSE. Everyone was asleep when dad pulled up leaving the family with no choice but to eat and maybe fight. Dad had 4 free waffle coupons that expire TODAY. And, YES, I had that thang on me in case they didn't accept my coupon. The service was excellent, and our waiter Shawn was very attentive and kind. He honored our coupons and made recommendations on how best to use them to save money - such a nice guy! The food was great as usual, and we all had a good time. One thing though, Waffle House has a secret sauce that comes in these little packets, and it's good! I put it on my breakfast sandwich. This is one of my favorite locations!
