Waffle House

Stop here often to grab breakfast for dinner. Typical Waffle House except that if the manager is there she will always go above and beyond to check on you to make sure everything was to your satisfaction. The other thing that isn't typical is that most of the employees have that same attitude. It's refreshing to see, even after you witness some of the horrible customers they have to deal with. That makes the atmosphere that much better. There's been times the staff has been lost in their own world while you wait and ponder your life decisions about stopping there but that hasn't been frequent. Placed a to go order online for the two egg breakfast and a Texas bacon cheese steak sandwich. Both of my eggs were supposed to be over easy instead both of my eggs were over cooked. Instead of my Texas bacon cheese steak I got a sausage sandwich with cheese. Not able to request a refund order online and their phone doesn't work it just keeps repeating "to place a to go order go online" so it appears for the only way for me to get a refund is to drive all the way back up there which is crazy to me. Absolutely unacceptable especially when they had plenty of people working so there was no rush at all.

Kailee was our waitress and was friendly, helpful and the food was great. The kitchen was quiet and the atmosphere was relaxed. They put Santa hats over the lights which was cute. Highly recommended.

For 50$ on a couple burgers and hash browns it was horrible. Order was completely wrong. Burgers were dry, with old hard cheese. (Ordered everything on the burgers) Hash brown had half a cheese slice for a double order, and nothing more. (Ordered chili, cheese, and jalapeños) Reminded me of high school food. The place was so loud from the employees I couldn’t get the food corrected. Again 50 bucks for school cafeteria food. Never again. I’ll starve first.

Went in last Saturday around 11am. I sat at the counter as I was by myself. There were dishes on the counter in 3 spaces and I waited patiently. After a wait, another customer came in and sat down at the counter 2 seats down from me. He got greeted and had a cup of coffee in minutes. I got up and left. I go to this waffle house frequently. I tip well. I will definitely find a different one to go to. Bad service! Plus teach them how to make grits!
