Waffle House

I only ordered a waffle. My friend ordered a full meal. His bacon was burnt. Eww. But my waffle was light skinned on one side. And when it comes to a waffle/pancakes, we all are colorist about it lol. Do better! I had to fix it up at home on the stove with some cinnamon and honey. Was great!

My first time trying - highly recommend the waffles with the various toppings. The texture of the waffle is nice with the nuts and blueberries; topped with chocolate. The cheesesteak melt and the Texas bacon egg & cheese were too carb heavy/fatty for us. Service was excellent and seating at the booths is pretty good.

I went in around 6pm Sunday, they weren’t busy at all so service was fast. The lady working the counter was very sweet and friendly! The cook was pretty good but I’ve had better food made before.. he seemed to have rushed making food in order to make a phone call inside the store while we were eating our food.. not really impressed much but it is what it is. But what really disappointed me was the main thing you go to Waffle House for; is the waffles (it’s in the name) so… why was my waffle given to me like this?.. not impressed but it’s fine. Along with that note the lady working the counter made sure everything was packed to go and gave me extra sauces.

Food was hot and ready when I arrived to pick it up. My only complaint was I prefer my waffle a little darker and crisper.

Was there on a weekday afternoon. The cook dude served up an awesome plate of food. The waitress cleaning the floor was friendly. The other waitress (serving me) was cold, inattentive and basically had the personality of a cardboard box. This is the second time I’ve been to this Waffle House, with the same waitress (‘Nova’ I believe) with the same treatment. On both visits, she’d walk by my seat (at the front counter) with my empty coffee mug pushed out so she wouldn’t miss it. The place was nearly empty of customers, and she’d walk by each time without a glance. I finally had to ask for a refill, after finishing my first cup and sitting for 10 minutes.
