Waffle House

I took my wife today for breakfast and there were seats available but not cleaned. While we sat patiently waiting for the tables to be cleaned up there were 2 employees sitting at a booth visiting with someone. This is not good for business.

Exactly what you expect at a greasy spoon diner. Quick serve food at a decent price served by friendly folks. Fast. Efficient. Good. The cheesesteak melt was perfect, as was the hashbrowns and the chili. That sums it up. The donkey is satisfied.

On our way to Atlanta for a trade show, we had to make a few stops on the way. It's always great to find a local waffle house. The staff knew a lot of the customers who were in for breakfast. This waffle house is right off the highway next to a gas station. The staff was nice and the food was good! If you haven't had a waffle house while traveling, now is the time.

Food was mostly good. The waffle wasn't even a whole waffle because I guess they didn't put enough batter in to make it??? The server had a very dry, aggravated attitude from the moment we walked in. There was only 1 other table in there when we got there. She acted like she was mad at the world. Didnt get refills either. Then the other 2 staff members started yelling across the store at each other. Just a bad experience.
