Wabash Southern Kitchen

Saw this place in Nolensville and had to try it. My wife got the meatloaf with two veggies and I got the homemade pimento cheese with house chips and (don’t judge me) fried chicken livers with bang bang sauce. And we both tried their signature sourdough bread. What did we think of it? Well, we liked it so much, it’s going in our regular rotation. Wabash is AMAZING. And the service… an amazing staff. Thank you.

Wabash Kitchen has quickly become a favorite for our family. The food just tastes like real, homemade Southern cooking — the kind you crave on a busy weeknight or slow Saturday morning. My kids are obsessed with the fried chicken and sides every time we go. And if you haven’t tried the cinnamon rolls or beignets for breakfast, you’re missing out. I recently had Wabash cater a luncheon, and they absolutely nailed it. We ordered chicken tenders, beans, mac and cheese, chips with queso, and a lemon meringue pie. I can’t tell you how many people asked where the food was from. The chicken tenders were especially impressive — not soggy, not greasy (which can definitely happen with catering), just perfectly seasoned and cooked. Best fried okra I have ever had!!! Coming from Deep South Georgia - that’s huge!! Meat loaf was ahhhmazing as well!! Mac n Cheese was fresh, homemade and cheesy. We will be back - OFTEN!!

Great casual restaurant with fast and friendly service. We got the chicken tenders plate and the meatloaf plate. The loaded mash potatoes are incredible! Check out the menu. Great variety of things to try.

Best chicken livers I’ve had since granny died. The collard greens were perfectly seasoned. The Hot Nashville Street corn was as pleasant surprise and just enough spice to make it pop. Kudos to the staff and owner. We will be back for certain.
