I just ate a can/jar of your raw oysters. Of course I ate them raw with a little salt and lemon. Bought them at a store called Fresh Thyme in Bridgeville Pa. Very good and tasty. Will purchase again. Wow here we are 4 years later. Bought two jars of raw Oysters December 1 2024. at my local Whole Foods. Still the best tasting shucked in a jar.
Several purchases of these oysters from Kroger over the last few months were very good. However, recently, once I was home I discovered one of the 8 oz. jars leaked in the refrigerator. I brought it back and got a replacement which also was not sealed adequately. So my advice to you---check the seal carefully.
Lee's Restaurant in Kilmarnock gets oysters from W.E. Kellum Seafood. Highly recommend. Great family, great business, and great oysters.
Bought a jar of bay scallops. Eaten raw they were mushy and smelled of fish. Cooked they were somewhat better but I wouldn't buy them again.
