Heard this was an authentic French bakery/patisserie and online reviews were good so had to check it out when I was in town! Honestly the desserts were not even that good! Service and atmosphere were top notch but the macaroons were so chewy and for the price of the dessert it was not worth it! Maybe the French eat it this way! 🤷♀️ haha For the price the quality should be much better!
Best hidden gem of Lancaster. When you first walk in you thin it's just a small french bakery. When you walk through at night you find a high class speakeasy with the most gormet entress and top tier service. Highly recommend the happy hour poutine and the side of wild mushrooms. 10/5 P.S. Get the mocha at the cafe. Its so good it has ruined coffee for me. Nothing compares.
WOWZA. Their patisserie is consistently good. The mango entrapment with guava & coconut is 🔥.. The leek puff pastry is also phenomenal. You can tell their whole team works real hard on their craft. 🫶🏼
The quiche was awesome and all the pastries look so good. There's indoor seating and outdoor seating area to sit with you pooch if you bring them along. Coffee, teas, jams, prepared meals and salads for a quick grab and go as well. Has breads like baguettes and croissants as well. The line moves fast.
This is my new favorite restaurant. Everything was excellent. The food, the service, and the atmosphere. I love French pastries, and this is the first place I have found which lets you order an assortment of pastries directly from the bakery. Most of the staples were there: a chocolate croissant (my favorite), a butter croissant (you can turn it into a kind of chocolate croissant with the accompanying chocolate sauce), and a baguette (perfect with the accompanying French butter and berry jam). I was surprised there was no brioche, but the raisin roll did not disappoint, even though I am not a big fan of raisins. The croque monsieur was cheesy and crunchy and I liked it better without jam. The truffle fries were subtle but delicious and only were not finished because the pastries alone we
