Stopped by this food truck located at a gas station and was pleasantly surprised. The shawarma was really good, well-seasoned, juicy, and served fresh. I also tried the plov, which had great flavor and generous portions of meat. The meat in the plov was a little on the dry side, but overall it was still tasty and satisfying. One nice touch is that they offer free tea, which makes the experience feel warm and welcoming. The staff is very friendly, patient, and happy to explain the menu. Don’t let the gas station location fool you - this spot delivers solid food and good vibes. Definitely worth a stop if you’re nearby and craving shawarma or plov. 👍

We were driving from Los Angeles to San Jose and were looking for some halal food on the way. We decided to stop by this food truck, and I’m so glad we did because it was absolutely the right choice!😍 The food was incredibly delicious — honestly, we haven’t had anything this good anywhere in California!!!🤌🏼 The shawarma was excellent: very natural, light, flavorful, and perfectly grilled. The flatbread was amazing too — not chewy like in most shawarma places. The woman working there was very kind and welcoming.🥹 I also really appreciated the packaging — it shows how much care they put into their work. Everything was packed so well. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. 👍🏼 My only regret is that we didn’t order the King Shawarma😢😄

Vostok Gyro & Shawarma Halal is one of the best halal food trucks in the Bay area. Their special pilaf is rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The lagman noodles are authentic and packed with fresh ingredients, and the shawarma is always juicy and well-seasoned. Portions are big, prices are fair, and the staff is very friendly. If you want delicious, authentic halal food, this truck is a must-try!

We had an amazing meal here with my husband! The shawarma was huge and perfectly seasoned. For the perfect touch, I’d add a bit of carrot for extra crunch. The lagman was rich and flavorful with tender meat, and the homemade compote was both tasty and refreshing. We loved it so much that we came back the next day for a King-size shawarma - so big we had to take it home. We’ll definitely be coming back again and again!
