Volcano Hot Pot & BBQ

When I first walked into Volcano I immediately noticed the beautiful pond of Koi fish & the belt of assorted foods wrapped passing through on a belt next to your table that is in hands reach. It’s a beautiful place to go with your friends or on a date. I was greeted by Lily the host who was an absolute doll. She explained everything to me after telling her it was my first time there. She even took the time to show me around the restaurant & all the food options. I never experienced such kindness from a host. My server was Jane who completely exceeded my expectations. This woman was so kind & helpful. She went above & beyond for me & gave me the best experience. She even fixed me up dessert & rolled some fresh pineapple in sugar & cooked it for me. I left very happy & very full. Great price

What a comeback! I first visited Volcano Hotpot around their grand opening and enjoyed it, but coming back years later I was blown away by how much the food quality has improved. The galbi beef was amazing, the shrimp were fresh and large, and the seafood selection was outstanding. The self-serve food bar was clean, well stocked, and full of fresh options. On top of that, the service was excellent—our waiter was attentive and friendly. The entire family loved the quality, selection, and service. It’s great to see how much this place has stepped up. We’ll definitely be back!

All you can eat personal hotpot & BBQ for under $40 per person is definitely a great deal. There are seven soup bases to choose from for the hot pot, and for just $3 more you can do both BBQ and hot pot. The food quality was better than expected, especially the seafood selection: salmon, shrimp, crayfish, crab, mussels and more... The blue mussels were probably the freshest I’ve had at any buffet. They also have a conveyor belt, though it’s not very useful since it isn’t refrigerated, so it mostly carries non perishable items like noodles and vegetables. Dessert is the weakest part of the buffet, but I do recommend the chocolate tiramisu. They also have a koi fish pond, kids would love that!

For the quality, it is a tad pricey, but it is a good experience, and the food is pretty solid. First, I'd like to say that the middle-aged server, I think her name is Huong, is super awesome. Super sweet and attentive. The selection of food for the Hot Pot was surprisingly numerous and pretty tasty. There was even a whole selection for sauces, which were great. I highly recommend the Herbal Soup for your broth, as you get to choose the type of broth you start with. I was a bit skeptical of their meat selection, and they weren't the greatest quality, but it wasn't too bad. Many people might say it's great, but having experience with high-quality meats, it's not easy for me to say that it was good quality. If we could live here, we would. Me and my friends LOVE this place!! The restaurant is buffet style, so you order your drinks and soup base with the waiter, and the hot pot and BBQ is a buffet so you have a wide variety of foods to choose from. They have raw and cooked ingredients, fried appetizers, fruits, desserts, and veggies that come by on a conveyor belt. The food is very good, and we love the conveyor belt feature and the sauce bar! The staff is always nice. Our only small complaint, is we love to cook our own food, and we always have to reassure the waiters that we don't need help grilling 🤣
