VK Brewing Co. & Eatery

Overall the flavor of the food was great - the portions were a little disappointing at this price point. The sandwiches are "shorti" size (if you are familiar with Wawa), the buns are not toasted (which was a little weird), but everyone liked what we ordered. The chicken Parm was like one chicken tender, sliced in half with a little cheese and sauce, the meatball sandwich had two meatballs tucked under that cheese and the other chicken sambo at least had a generous helping of veggies on top to act as a filler. Fries weren't heaping, but were sufficient. Loved the bruschetta and the drinks. Enjoyed the live music. While come back again!

The restaurant offers both handcrafted beer, cocktails and food. Very friendly atmosphere. Few menu items exceed expectations. Fried green tomato was a perfect balance of flavors with fresh cheese and handmade dressing. Service is always friendly and attentive. Good for families and groups, a strongly recommended place.

This place is awesome in every way. Great food, great beer, and a phenomenal environment. But what really makes this place top notch is the service. My wife and I and our three young kids have been in multiple times and every single time, staff goes out of their way to make us and our kids feel beyond welcome, which is not the case at many other establishments. Our kids leave with as big of smiles on their faces as we do and that is all because VK staff ALWAYS goes above and beyond. Can't say enough about this place. Looking forward to continuing to support VK!

The old Ship's Inn is replaced. Veteran-owned brewery, taproom, and restaurant, so of course I'll support a veteran. Still various rooms to sit in, but some brighter inside decor. Clean and goid service. Cheapest thing on the menu was a basket of fries for $8. I got the Crab Nachos for MP of $19. The appetizer was on the expensive side for me, but damn was it good!!! I wish there was more than 5! Also tried the VK Honey Belgian Strong Golden Ale, which was very tasty for $8. My friend tried the VK Orange Shandy, the Pretzel Bites, and French Onion soup, which she seemed to enjoy. There was a peanut butter cheesecake calling my name, but I resisted this time.

Had the spinach and white pizza - and being from New York, it was very good. My husband had on the bone wings dry and loved them. My son had the kids cheeseburger and fries, and actually ate the entire meal even with having the pretzel bites appetizers. Pretzel bites tasted fresh. Cheese sauce tasted like melted white American, which wasn’t bad, but it was definitely heated up prior to the pretzels being ready. My husband had the VK original IPA, which he liked, but he definitely enjoyed my Dreadnought IPA better. Specials on a Sunday for beer and appetizers, which was a nice surprise. They also have a special on Sunday for when you purchase a pizza, you get a kids pizza free.
