4⭐️ I have had this food truck twice now. The first time I wasn’t able to take pictures. This time… I took bad pictures honestly lol. They were at an event, I got my food, and had to go put it in the fridge for later, and go back to work. Even after reheating, the burritos are really good! The first time I tried them I got the Carne Asada burrito, and I REALLY loved the pineapple in that. This time I got the Chicken burrito. I am not a sweet potato fan, and didn’t see that it has sweet potatoes in it until after I ordered 🤣 I did try 2 bites just to try it. The burrito isn’t bad, the sweet potato isn’t overpowering or anything, I just don’t like them 🤣 But if you like sweet potatoes you would love the chicken burrito. But I will say the salsas they give you top the burritos off perfectly.
bummer they use a full sized Styrofoam container when the burrito is already wrapped in paper & foil. (could the chips and burrito but put in a small paper bag?) I only tried the Pollo burrito- tasty but not a fan of the sauce/crema that covers everything- i some crema is ok, but the entire contents was drenched in it- so the whole thing, rice, meat veggies was goopy. if i go back i'll request no container and no crema and see how it is.
Had their La Discada Burrito from their food truck on the College of William & Mary campus. The staff were super friendly and the huge burrito was pretty good. To me there was too much filler (rice & beans) and not enough meat for my liking, but overall there was a lot of food to definitely satisfy anyone’s cravings. One order costed around $20 bucks and one of the employees (I think one of the owners) said they should be opening a storefront in York Co. soon
This was one of the best burritos I've ever had. Ordered the Carne Asada and it was incredible. Absolutely packed with flavor and wrapped inside a perfect chewy tortilla. I will now actively search out this food truck, it really was that good!! Also, the gentleman that took my order was extremely kind and professional. If this were a Mexican restaurant I would never go to another one!
The burrito tasted fine but it was almost entirely very tasty rice with very little meat or vegis. The tortilla was large, chewy and amazing. I wish I knew where to get tortillas like that. I'd probably only go back if they added a good rice free chicken burrito to their menu.
