Virginia City Creamery

I have been going to this place every year since I was a teenager, but the quality seems to have gone down. They icecream wasn't very creamy, it was mostly ice chunks. It is also pretty expensive.

What delicious ice cream! Plenty of options from which to choose and a few I’d never seen before. For instance, Wedded Bliss, a vanilla with hot fudge, caramel, and chocolate-covered almond concoction that the proprietor developed for his own wedding. Or huckleberry, honey, and lavender. Between the 4 of us, we had 8 different flavors and everyone was happy! Tip: there’s a great little patio in back! We sat back there and enjoyed the breeze.

My favorite ice cream comes from here. Green tea, honey and ginger. So delicious. It's a cool shop with ice cream churned on site. Definitely worth stopping in for a scoop or ten.

Delicious homemade ice cream with a great variety of unique flavors. It is made using old fashioned ice cream churns, and the owners/staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming! Definitely a must if you are in Virginia City!

Very good ice cream. Some of the best in Montana.
