Virago

Virago certainly brings a sleek and energetic atmosphere to the Nashville scene, but my experience didn't quite align with the sky-high reviews. While the hospitality from the staff was top tier, the logistics were a major letdown; we weren't seated until 30 minutes past our actual reservation time, which is a tough way to start any evening. The menu was a bit of a mixed bag. The Double Dynamite was a clear standout and really hit the mark, while the Crunchy California was a solid, enjoyable choice. However, other plates fell short. The Oishi was just okay. The Rock Shrimp and Honey Fire were unfortunately a huge miss. Overall, the food felt somewhat average and didn't quite justify the long wait or the hype. While the service was great, it wasn't the standout experience I was expecting.

The restaurant is beautiful. Service was really good. The food? Just ok. Most of what we ordered felt overly sweet and sauced. The Bomb sushi doesn’t need that much sauce on top😭 We loved the mushroom fried rice!

Five stars across the board! Celebrated my birthday here last night and I’m still thinking about the meal. Every dish was flawless, but the service was what set it apart. Our server was phenomenal—super helpful with recommendations and kept the energy high all night. Hands down the best birthday dinner I've had in years!

This was the PERFECT date night. Our food was spectacular. HIGHLY reccomend the toto- the whisky smoked soy sauce it comes with it is to die for. The shoshitos were also a table favorite. Our waiter, Andrew M, made our experience all the more memorable with special reccomendations based on our tastes and kept our drinks flowing, our bellies full and our hearts laughing! Thank you Andrew for making our evening so wonderful, truly the best waiter I’ve had in a long time.

A fabulous experience from start to finish, we had a wonderful time celebrating a birthday. All the food was lovely, but the Pork Belly Bao and Crispy Fried Rice were EXCEPTIONAL! Simply a must have every time you come.
