Vinhus Restaurant and Grill

I loved it. Came here in a rush and got something to eat real quick but the bread and olives were delicious. The service was great and the pleace is impeccable. I enjoyed the atmosphere and definitely want to come back to celebrate a special occasion or even for a date Night. Totally worth it 🥰

The service was outstanding. The food was ok. Octopus was a bit fishy. The place is beautifully decorated but i was hoping to find a more traditional look. I didn't feel "transported to portugal".

Portuguese cuisine isn’t very common in this area, so I really appreciated the concept — especially the use of imported products from Portugal, which adds a nice authentic touch. The atmosphere is very pleasant and perfect for a relaxed dinner. That said, I didn’t find the food particularly exceptional. The flavors felt a bit flat, and nothing really stood out in a memorable way. Still, it was a nice experience overall. I might come back to try other dishes or just to enjoy the ambiance again.

We have lived in South Florida for 6 years. We have driven all over FL searching for good Portuguese food, with no success until Vinhus opened!!! What a delight. The location is perfect, the staff/family is so kind and take pride in their restaurant and customers. We are original from CT and ate at great Portuguese restaurants in NJ, CT and MA. Vinhus is my favorite.

I was initially drawn to Vinhus Restaurant and Grill by the inviting ambiance that radiated even from the street. However, my experience was a disappointment. The fish I ordered was excessively salty, making it difficult to enjoy the dish. The service left much to be desired; staff were unresponsive and inattentive, despite the restaurant being nearly empty at the time of my visit. Even a simple request for takeout boxes took nearly 10 minutes to fulfill and getting extra sauce even when paid for was like pulling teeth. Unfortunately, the charm that first attracted me did not translate into the dining experience. My rating reflects my discontent: 1 stars for food, 2 stars for service, and 2 stars for atmosphere. I hope the management takes steps to improve these issues for future guests. 😒
