VINCA Arista

An early night birthday celebration with six dining- we were seated in a spacious private room and service was friendly and informed if a bit slow for an uncrowded night. We enjoyed all the dishes tastes and Food quality but all were served NOT Hot. Pictured are Beef Bouguignon, Halibut Buerre Blanc and a grilled banger steak. This was on the expensive side and probably worth the $$$, but serving Luke warm food was a definite downer.

I was surprised at the many steak offerings (wagu and otherwise). There isn't a steakhouse vibe, but it's as good as any locally. Schnitzel, which was the first we had since a local German restaurant closed after covid. I kinda expected more exotic European dishes, but, if they keep doing what they do best. Fantastic chocolate mouse, too!

Finally checked out this euro vibes wine bar that was recommended to me, and I wasn't disappointed at all! The food was great, and the service from our bartender Yannick was top-tier (this guy deserves a raise!). Plus, he whipped up some really tasty cocktails for me. It's a bit of an investment, but definitely a good spot for a fun night out every now and then.

We had a 'good' dinner there tonight. First woman who greeted us was amazing. Our server was good. She didn't forget anything but was very overwhelmed. She didn't try to show it, but was easy to tell. I came to get the schnitzel, my husband came and wanted the short ribs. They were out of both and one other dinner option. So we ordered the burrata to start. It was beautiful and delicious. We had to start over though with the 9 things on the menu for dinner and they were out of 3 items. Husband ended up ordering a steak and I had the bolognese. They were both good not great, and when they served my husband the steak the guy who handed us his meal said "sorry, we're out of steak knives".
