Village Inn Seafood & BBQ

The flounder, shrimp, and stuffed crab were all seasoned perfectly and were so good. Those hush puppies melt in your mouth. The sweet tea is top notch! Excellent service! Incredible food! This establishment has been known for its quality seafood, bbq, and chicken for several generations.

WTHELLY was I served? To be sure it was not a scallop. It did not resemble a scallop in any way—-taste, texture, or appearance. I can only describe as a greasy, tough, rubbery chicken nugget. Also, paid cash at the to-go window and could not be provided with a receipt for my records. Staff said they could not provide one and only offered an order ticket showing the items ordered, with no prices or proof of payment.

Great experience. I saw it going down 74 and figured it's only open 3 days a week! So I stopped in, and it was great! I definitely looked like a sore thumb in there, but the experience was great, and everyone was so kind!

Services is friendly but food suck. A total ripoff. This is how small there plates are. I wouldn't recommend stopping here. I maybe goot 10 small shrimp and they will overload your plate with fries and hush puppies to make your plate look full. I recommend take a trip to the Mayflower. This doesn't make since. Price gougin is a crime

Hey found myself back at the Village Inn Saturday for lunch and once again they did a great job. The service was great and the food was excellent again like always. The seafood was amazing and the fried chicken was delicious. The restaurants that specialize in chicken can’t do better. Sometimes it’s a difficult decision whether to have chicken or the seafood so we order one plate to split between the two of us and add one piece of chicken. Oh man. What a plate. See picture. Their oysters are always cooked just right and the scallops are juicy and tender. Hard to find a better meal in all of Lumberton.
