Village Ice Cream Shoppe

Blue Bell ice cream, just like at your grocery store. The setting in that strip of old buildings is really neat to see. Several shops to walk through during the spring and summer months. Worth a stop if you like that sort of thing. We enjoyed it. Free gravel parking lot behind the shops can fill up during peak times.

OH MY at the Banana Split! It’s definitely made for 2 to share. Absolutely the best I have had! The ice cream is from Mayfield so you know the quality is there. This place just perfects it with the attention to detail. Friendly staff, plenty of tables to stop for a minute to enjoy and then get back to meandering through the town.

We were at Desoto Falls SP and I was craving something sweet so I googled and found this place. Luckily I had enough cell service to map to it. The business is a little hard to see because it is higher than the road and the business is not well marked but I would suggest making the effort to find it. I ordered the banana split and had a seat while they prepared it. They brought out the biggest banana split I'd ever seen! I worried we would not be able to finish it but not being one to back down from a challenge, we were able to finish! I would suggest you patronize this local establishment. There are several shops in the same area and all the vendors were very nice.

Great service and great food. My boyfriend and I were driving through from Birmingham, and I’ll definitely be coming back.The owners were extremely sweet, and their hot dogs and ice cream were amazing!

My son and I tried to eat this thing after having a good dinner. Terrible idea. Could not make it. I don't even like banana splits and this thing is the greatest banana split ever. My son doesn't like them. I will literally drive 15 miles out of the way to go and eat this. Greatest thing ever
