Village Guest Suite

Had a wonderful stay. Parking right next to room. Rooms are clean and spacious. Would recommend starting here to anyone wanting to be close to the shops and restaurants but away from the hustle and bustle of a typical motel

The main thing that we liked was the value and location. The disposal does not work, and the dishwasher does not work. Those things were easy to ignore. The one thing that might keep me from booking again is the fact that the proprietor controls the thermostat from her phone. Most of the time, we were comfortable at that temp. She likes to keep it at 74° when the suite is occupied.

Clean, comfortable, cute, and cozy! Walking distance to the shops and restaurants. Only stayed one night in the upstairs suite but would like to stay again for a long weekend. Bedroom has a queen bed and day bed. Living room has a pull out couch. Fully stocked kitchen equipment.

My wife and I met our daughter in the Amana Colonies for the weekend. I researched places to stay beforehand and read the reviews. I spoke with all of the owners of the B & B's trying to find the best fit for the 3 of us. Let me say this up front--all of the places are great! However, the Village Guest Suite was best for us, because we didn't have to rent 2 rooms. Virginia and Alan have a suite upstairs that is perfect for 3-5 people, Their website does not do it justice--in fact, it doesn't give enough credit to the available space and layout they provide.| We rented the upstairs and were shocked when we entered the area. We loved our visit to the Amana Colonies. Our home was comfortable clean and quaint. We had plenty of room to sit and visit, play games and enjoy a step back in time. Virginia is easy to communicate with. |Make sure you do the visitors tour of the colonies, if possible do David’s tour and don’t miss a drive to the Fireside winery in Marengo.
