Village Grill

Nice quaint little roadside food stop and gas station. Cheaper gas prices than the big travel stops easy access outdoor bathrooms that were a little beat up but still functional and not disgusting, lots of parking for larger vehicles and RVs (I was in a 26' uhaul while towing a car on a flatbed trailer and had easy access to gas pumps and rest area parking). Overall a nice little homely convenience store/restaurant/gas station. I didn't try the food but it smelled pretty good. I did get some ice cream from their little restaurant spot and it was large portions and cheap.

This place is the reason why huge corporate travel plazas will never be #1 on the road. This gem has everything any travelers could ask for and the staff is amazingly friendly offering up idle chit chat and giving you all of the information of this area. I recommend the jalapeño bacon burger from the grill with curly fries and a tall ice cold drink. It’s a $20 (everywhere else) meal that only costs $14 and it’s better than a burger you get from just about anywhere. Great job 👏 I can’t wait to see you all again 😎👍🇺🇸

Friendly stop from to to there. I wouldn't say it's perfect, but I would stop there again. They have everything a budget traveler needs! I want to thank the employees for their hospitality; my kids loved the chalk wall.

In all fairness there is a sign which suggests it takes a while….however after 42 minutes it was very disappointing. The village melt was so dry and flavorless, the “fresh” chicken bacon wrap was frozen chicken product chopped up (also cold and not edible), and the turkey sandwich was not as ordered. On a positive note….the tater tots were crispy and if they were not cold they may have been good. So glad I had a backup bag of corn nuts in the car as we tossed most of the food. The staff were polite but do NOT waste your money eating here…unless of course if you just plan on grabbing a bag of corn nuts.

Village burger was great. Price was12 bucks with drink and fry. Good place to stop, right off the Interstate
