I take this as a whole experience! This is bodega style where the restaurant is in the back of the Indian grocery store. I love that! If I had to only eat at bodegas for the rest of my life then I would be happy. The experience felt immersive and authentic so I absolutely loved it. I have dined here twice and both times it was very nice. My butter chicken was delicious, but maybe leaned a little too heavily on the salty side. The Vada Pav was super delicious. I was offered ketchup but I didn't feel like that paired well with it at all but I learned that they use a green chili sauces for it so they gave me that and it was fabulous. I very much enjoyed dining with the other guests- it's a small restaurant and we're all packed in there, which I liked. I'll definitely go again but I'll try som
Di and Daughter ate lunch here yesterday and it was as fantastic as all the reviews say it is. The food was amazing and perfectly spiced with all those wonderful Indian ingredients. The rice was perfection. The butter chicken curry was perfect. The chicken Marsala was perfect. You must try this tiny area in the back of the Asian Grocery store on Rodney Parham. Thank you Daughter for the delicious birthday meal!
This is some of the best Indian food I've ever eaten. Everything I had was absolutely amazing
Here’s a polished, balanced food review based on what you shared. I’ve kept the tone natural and honest, suitable for Google or Yelp: ⸻ Food Review We tried the vegetarian paneer biryani, tandoori chicken kebab, butter naan, paneer curry, and masala chai. The portion sizes are very generous—one biryani was enough for three people, and the paneer curry was plentiful enough to enjoy again for another mealtime. Overall, the quantity is definitely worth the money. The flavors were well balanced and nicely blended, without being overly spicy or heavy. Everything tasted fresh and satisfying. The masala chai was good, though the cardamom flavor was a bit strong for our preference. The staff, including the cashier, were friendly and welcoming. However, the seating and atmosphere are not very
The food is absolutely delicious every single time. people are so kind and welcoming. It’s always such a fun experience ordering, going there, and sitting down to eat. The chicken biryani is my favorite, it’s honestly so good. I always look forward to coming back!
