Amazing vibes, delicious food, polite and caring staff - Sharlene was delightful! Cherry on top are the fab views of the river (in the summers). What more could one ask for? 10/10 experience, will definitely be back 😊

One of the best dining experiences weve had in the Sault. We reserved for Valentine's supper. The service was great, and the staff was very helpful. We had crab cakes and beet salad with goat cheese for the starters. Both were presented nicely and tasted great. We both chose Bavette signature steak dinner, and the Japanese cheesecake. We drank coffee. The food was excellent and arrived promptly. Our bill was about 200, and we tipped 40.

Just had our 25th wedding anniversary here last night. View is a great name for the restaurant, because the river view is beautiful, though I think my view of her was better. We had duck bombs, cedar planked salmon, traditional chicken piccata. For dessert it was Japanese style cheesecake (terrific lemon flavor throughout) and crème brûlée (perfect golden crust).

I recently dined at View in Sault Ste. Marie and had a wonderful experience overall. I ordered the Blackened Tuna with vegetables and fries, and the dish was absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The restaurant’s location right beside the lake made the dining experience even more enjoyable, and I was lucky to get a table with a beautiful lakeside view, which added a serene and relaxing atmosphere. The staff was exceptional—attentive, friendly, and genuinely interested in ensuring everything was going well during my meal. I also tried one of their cocktails; while it was well-presented, I found the excessive basil, sliced rather than lightly muddled, affected the flavor and made it less enjoyable. Wonderful dining experience. My wife Jackie and I went there for our anniversary and the service was excellent with our server Charlene who was friendly and upbeat and tentative to our needs. Angelica even checked to see how everything with our meal was as well, and she was very personable which was a nice touch. The presentation of the food was very eye catching and tasted delicious. Dining room was very clean and had a warm atmosphere. I highly recommend and very reasonably priced for an upscale dining experience.
