My friend and I stayed here for one night while on a trip through the Eastern Shore. It is run by a British lady, who runs a tight ship. This is a lovely old building situated in a quiet and picturesque part of Cambridge. It is only a 100 yards from the Choptank River, and a yacht club and lighthouse are a couple of blocks away. The rooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were clean, and the breakfast was sumptuous. (I loved the “yogurt sundae” she made.)
CALL TO MAKE BOOKING ONLY—WEBSITES THAT LIST THIS INN ARE NOT LEGITIMATE. This is a lovely bed and breakfast run by such a kind lady. Service is excellent and British. Breakfast is included, and the timing is relatively flexible. You should expect to socialize with the host and other guests. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here with my partner.
We recently had the most delightful stay at a charming bed and breakfast run by the amazing host, Lynette. We were greeted with warmth and hospitality that made us feel right at home. Not only did Lynett provide impeccable service, but our conversations were engaging and delightful. We could’ve stayed chatting for hours. Lynette prepared a delicious breakfast for us on the screened in porch that had peek views of the water. Breakfast was delicious and was served on beautiful tableware. It was a great morning enjoying breakfast, French pressed coffee and chatting with Lynette who has wonderful stories to share, and a beautiful outlook on life. Lynette didn’t let us leave empty handed as we left with a few books from her bookshelves. My stay at this quaint bed and breakfast with Lynett as t
Cambridge is a charming town, with cute shops, elegant homes, and waterside views. to get the most from it, you need very elegant accommodations. Victoria Gardens Inn is the pinnacle of charm. The place is authentically furnished, with gorgeous old furniture and lots of lace. The host is welcoming, articulate, and is an expert chef. For breakfast, she cooked a salmon filled, 2 poached eggs, tomato, cucumber, toast, apricot juice, and French pressed coffee, all cooked to perfection. our room was large and very comfortable. it is a short walk to downtown. I highly recommend staying here
A gorgeous Victorian home full of antiques, it preserves it's Victorian charm well. Each room is furnished with Victoria era furniture and full of books. The owner Lynette is the sweetest thing and served us the fanciest breakfast we've ever had and was great company. The bedrooms have a large bed and a vanity each, along with at least one chair and none of our rooms had to share a restroom. There is a charming wrap around porch with rocking chairs and a lovely yard. Lynette did laundry for us and recommended a great dinner place after serving sherry upon arravial. 10/10, would recommend and will be returning.
