Vic's Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria

Very good place downtown, felt like I was in New York. The pizza is pretty good here, but to be honest the entrees are exceptional. Very very good garlic knots that came with our entres. Not a huge place, but cozy and feels like NY.

We’ve passed this restaurant a hundred times for years going downtown for various reasons and always said we needed to try it. We ended up here after a show by chance and holy cow it’s the little italian restaurant we’ve always wanted. Took us straight back to NYC. My husband who grew up on NJ just over the river felt nostalgic just being there and we felt like we were at home. The waiter was attentive and helpful. Our family of 6 ordered the baked ziti, penne vodka, pepperoni pizza & ny pizza. Best family dinner we’ve had in a while. Just good vibes and delicious warm food. We will for sure be back this may be our new family Italian spot!

I ordered an 18-inch Meat Eater pizza and waited nearly 25 minutes, only to receive a pizza that did not look fresh or hot. My children love pizza, but they didn’t enjoy this one at all because it didn’t taste or look freshly made. When I called to express my concern, the employee told me that all their pizzas are made from scratch and said, “When you see a fresh pizza, you’ll know.” Unfortunately, this pizza did not look or taste fresh, and the response I received felt dismissive rather than helpful.😡😡😡

My waiter Mr.Salvatore was very nice. He treated me like family. I came in here on a solo date. Everyone was very nice, respectful, and welcoming. My food was great. It was hot and tasted great. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Great weekend get out place! Our service here was excellent, especially the assistant team. Friendly and quick on their feet, especially the assistant with the mustache. It’s the kind of presence that makes you feel welcome the moment you sit down and keeps the vibe light the whole time. You can tell they enjoy being there, and that energy carries through the entire restaurant. I’ll absolutely be back, if only to enjoy that level of service again.
