Unbelievable gem. Cant believe we have missed this place all these years. What an amazing meal. The restaurant owners are a couple, the husband is from Rome and does the cooking. She manages the front. The food is authentically Italian, fresh, delicious and generous. The atmosphere is adorable and immaculate. BYOB if you want booze, with a zero dollar corking fee. We cant to come back and bring a bigger group.

Via Roma! The food is amazing! You can taste the love, care and passion that goes into there dish. Not only is the taste authentic the portions are also decent. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The ambiance is like sitting in a dining room with a large family. My wife ordered the Penne Arrabiatta she loved it. I ordered the Spaghetti carbonara it was amazing. The Pancetta was nice and crispy pasta was cooked perfect Al dente overall amazing flavors. There olive oil is top notch as well with super fresh bread to dip. Definitely will be back to try other dishes! 100% recommend!

Via Roma is a great experience from start to finish! We decided to give it a try for lunch and were very pleased with the results. The food is fresh, delicious, & well portioned. The staff was welcoming, friendly, & efficient. BYOB with no corking fee just adds to the perfect experience! If you're looking for well made Italian in a nice casual environment, this is the place!

Had dinner before a concert at the Des Plaines Theater, we arrived earlier then the dinner crowd and didn’t have to wait for a table. All the servers were friendly, we brought our own bottle of wine and were served glasses and an opener. Place had a very nice relaxed vibe. Seemed like a lot of regulars returned, they made us feel very welcomed. Food was very good! Definitely will be back when we visit Des Plaines area again!

Exceptional spot for a higher level Italian restaurant in an underserved area. Prompt seating, quick service. Great food! Byo wine has a corking fee. Will be back to try more dishes.
