Vernon Diner

First time trying Vernon diner and I guess we had high hopes for the food but were a little disappointed. Our home fries had zero flavor, they almost tasted like they just boiled them then grilled them for some crisp with zero seasoning! The eggs and bacon were good, but that’s something so simple to make! The only star of our breakfast were the French toast those were delicious! Prices are pretty high, considering it’s a diner and the quality of food isn’t the best. And if you go for brunch on a Saturday wait time is pretty long!

Awesome breakfast burrito! I loved the decor and atmosphere. Very clean and good service. The baked goods case is spectacular. I want to return and try many of their other foods and baked goods.

Fabulous place, and if your really hungry. They serve good size portions. And the food is farm fresh. Extra large eggs big red potatoes just delicious. And the Bakery looks oh so pretty with so many goodie to eat. Enjoy!

Creative American menu with sugar and chocolate and everything your mother told you not to eat when you were little. The cannoli French toast was as moreish as I expected & it lasted me about 4 days lol. Pancakes were a great size for eating ‘til you’re full & not worrying about leftovers. The yogurt parfait was excellent, too, though the granola was plain & it would’ve been lovely to see something homemade. The fruit was fresh and the coffee wasn’t watery, great traits for a diner.

I’ve been coming to this diner since it first opened, and I’ve always appreciated the atmosphere and service. Unfortunately, my experience yesterday was deeply disappointing. The utensils appeared unclean, there was hair in my food, and the staff interaction was unprofessional. The woman supervising the children was openly yelling at coworkers in front of customers, which created a very uncomfortable environment. I’ve always wanted to support this place, but the decline in food quality and service over the years has been noticeable. I hope management addresses these issues.
