Venezia Italian Restaurant and Bar

waitress with braces and slippers (don't know her name because she didn't introduce herself) was very rude on 12/14/25. i have been here a few times and had good experiences, but will never come here again after how we were treated. she was inattentive which was weird since we were the only table for most of the night. she also acted put out when i asked her for a clean cup since the one she brought me had lip marks on it. when she finally came to take our orders. she was asked for a recommendation between two menu items. when they were read to her in italian as it is listed on the menu, she said she didn't know what any of it was and asked for a menu description! she didn't write down our orders (party of 7) and then came right back to say that they were out of one of the items. no big

While the customer service was outstanding the rest was sadly disappointing. The bruschetta was drenched in pesto and balsamic glaze, the bread offered was dry and stale and hard. The pasta itself was just ok. It was honestly a little disappointing.

First of all everthing we have had there is excellent. One of our favorite appetizers is that calamari in a lemon butter sauce. It's fantastic. We would lick the bowl clean but it's good they give you garlic knots to mop up the sauce. Friendly and comfortable and great food. What else does one need?

All of the food was amazing, the server was very attentive and pleasant. I will definitely be back!

One of the worst experiences I've had at a restaurant. There was only 1 table there on a Friday night which is telling. • Our waiter couldn't have been over 16 or 17 and was pouring our alcohol. • We were sat near the kitchen and I could hear them microwaving our food. • The garlic knots were extremely stale, and our entrees came out within 5 minutes of us ordering. It was all very clearly microwaved. • My eggplant parm wasn't even breaded, just borderline raw eggplant with ricotta and flavorless definitely storebought sauce. It was laughably bad. • The waiter forgot the bruschetta we ordered. • The person I was with ordered the gnocchi, he said it was obviously microwaved, super dry chicken, seemed like the quality you could buy in the freezer aisle.
