Velvet Taco

Y’all, these tacos are the bomb. I love their brisket nachos and the rotisserie chicken taco. Today I tried the chicken & waffle taco and it was FIRE. The mix of savory flavors is so good. Also—shoutout to the to-go trays. They’re super cute, durable, and really convenient. Good job, y’all 👏🔥 I rated the atmosphere and service a 4 only because of the drive-up window shade. With all the snow melting right now, it’s really not practical. A lot of water was coming straight into my car—not just a few drops. The employee stood there reading off my order (which I’ve never experienced before), holding the bag while water was actively coming into my car, and asked me twice if I wanted sauce instead of trying to move things along quickly. I ordered from this place through DoorDash, but the packaging was very careless. The containers leaked and everything was mixed and smashed by the time it reached me. When ordering delivery, proper packing is very important, and this was a big letdown.

Velvet Taco is my go to taco joint. It was especially wonderful today because we were greeted by Ash. He has a warm smile and was quite knowledgeable. The food is amazing. I look forward to the Taco of the week. Always amazing!!! I have to say again that I'm a time when people aren't as friendly, Ash made us feel welcome.

Everything was ok. Tacos were way too messy for my liking but I could see others loved it. Prices were very high for tacos, but they did have them full.
