Velvet Taco

Amazing experience every time I come here! Gabo and Yesenia are always so welcoming, friendly, and attentive they truly make you feel taken care of from start to finish. Devore and the rest of the Velvet Taco crew bring great energy, work as a team, and keep everything running smoothly. The service is consistently excellent, the atmosphere is fun and inviting, and you can tell the staff genuinely cares about their customers. This is hands down one of my favorite spots because of the people as much as the food. Highly recommend!

We were in fort lauderdale for a short stay during our recent Caribbean cruise. We stopped by this location and tried our late lunch closed to 3pm. Even though it was little empty due to the time, we went ahead ordered some common Mexican foods, the waiter and waitress are vary friendly and offers advice, recommendations. We picked their recommendations and everything tasted amazingly fresh and good, it was one of my best Mexican food experiences, 5 stars👍.

Recommend this place across all fronts! Atmosphere was a great vibe. Staff was really friendly. Restaurant and bathrooms were all clean. And the food was incredible and reasonably-priced. I wish I lived local and could visit regularly to try the WTF (weekly feature taco).

Stopped in for lunch today and I'm glad I did! I ordered the rotisserie chicken bowl and it did not disappoint. The flavors were great and the portion was good. The environment is very chill and the employees are friendly and playful. Stop by if you are in the downtown area. I'll definitely be back.

Julie was awesome when we came in today. It was our first time (on vacay so potentially our last time) visiting. She explained the menu, took our order and checked on us as we finished. The bacon smash burger taco was so yummy and quite filling! The brisket duo was my husbands choice… he thought it was outstanding. Definitely a great find!
