Velvet Taco

Today I ordered from the app and made a giant mistake….. totally my fault, not the store’s. I had to call a couple of times to fix it, and Peyton was an absolute lifesaver. Peyton deserves a raise, a parade, and his name in the Velvet Taco Hall of Fame because he was so kind, patient, and helpful all day. As a teacher, it meant a lot that he genuinely cared enough to make sure this teacher got lunch. Special shoutout to Brian too for being part of today’s adventure. Velvet Taco, y’all have some really dope, amazing people at your location and the food already has me in a chokehold, so having great people to match the good food energy is everything. I’ll definitely be back! If I could give you 10 stars, I totally would!!!!

Legacy taco shops in California would have a fit if velvet taco came to town. They would displace a lot of business! Keep in mind, velvet taco is not your abuelitas street tacos, it’s bold and daring and some would argue not really Mexican food. So don’t get it twisted, but this place is a MUST EAT with an open mind. And your mind will be blown. This location in particular was very kind, quick, and comfortable with big huge seats. Portions large and high quality. And yeah they got margaritas - better than most you’d get at a large big brand Mexican restaurant.

This is my new favorite taco place 🙌🙌 the staff here is super nice. Brian was super helpful and helped me with everything! And there’s so many customization options you can do with your tacos!

Great place! The food is good and I really dig the laid back hipster vibe. Reminds me of my days living in Austin. Plus, they're open late.

I really like this restaurant. It's was very clean, tables and all. It is a very cozy restaurant. The food was super excellent. Good flavor, color, consistency, texture so it's good to the taste. Highly recommended. The only problem I see was no pictures in the menu so that was extremely hard to pick something to eat, specially when I have no idea what the food looks like so we had to guess. Nevertheless, the taste was amazing!
