Best South Indian food I enjoyed at Washington DC with pure vegetarian menu. Even vegan gluten free option available makes the experience amazing. We tried masala dosa, mysore masala dosa( chutney is spreaded on the dosa stuffed with potato bhaji), soft idlis, my friend tried Jain uttapam, Jain punjabi panir tikka masala, ras malai, gulab jamun. The best part we also got salad packed on request. Everything was amazing…must try.

I visited Vegz in Washington, DC with my son yesterday to try some vegetarian food, and I was completely taken aback by how delicious and affordable everything was. I’ve had Indian food before, but this had more of a street-style feel — flavorful, fresh, and deeply satisfying. The atmosphere isn’t necessarily romantic, but it’s relaxed and welcoming — perfect for anyone who just wants great-tasting, filling vegetarian food without the high prices. If you’re in DC and craving something flavorful and authentic, I can’t think of a better spot. I’ll definitely be back soon

Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. I especially recommend the choley poori, samosas and dosa, which was cooked to perfection and had a wonderful blend of textures and spices. Vegz is a must-try if you are in hunt for home like great food. Happy eating!

I recently visited VEGZ in DC and had such a wonderful experience! The atmosphere is modern, cozy, and welcoming — perfect for a relaxed lunch or dinner. The presentation of the dishes was beautiful, and you can really tell they put care into every plate. The flavors were fresh, vibrant, and satisfying. Even if you’re not fully vegan, the food is so flavorful and creative that you won’t miss anything. The ingredients tasted high quality and thoughtfully prepared. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending VEGZ to friends. A great addition to DC’s dining scene! 🌿✨

OMG I loved this place. Have eaten at a lot of desi restaurants around DC but Vegz has been the best easily. Primarily coz the taste was authentic Indian. Also, portion size was well as per the price. We had mango Lassi, Chola puri and paneer Dosa (served with sambhar, coconut chutney). All items tasted sooo good and reminded me of home. The music playing there and the whole vibe was also desi. A must visit place! 🫶 Updating my review to add the other visits I had here. Had chola puri, masala dosa, papdi chaat, gobi manchurian, etc etc. This place always makes me happy. Have recommended multiple people for it😁😁
