Vegan Heat

Today I had to stop and try them out!!! I went to their new location on Samuel. I ordered the vegan chicken basket. When I tell you it's 1,000,000,000/10!!! I am so glad that I tried them out!! I'm definitely coming back again!!

So this was my first time ordering from here and it wasn't what everyone makes it to be. So first it's in a bar, not stated on the website only if you have social media. The lady had this ugly vibe about her when I called to ask where it was as if I was suppose to know about this "popular bar." The worker at the Thai place was very nice to me and helped me, unlike the vegan heat service lady. Now the food, it wasn't the best but wasn't he worst I've had, mind you, I've tried mostly every vegan restaurant in the dfw since I've been vegan for 11 years now. The ube waffle was good, but the fried mushroom felt like I was eating more batter then mushroom. This place is Awesome! I got the Lemon Pepper Chickin' Basket, Ube Waffle, and Peach Cobbler. I really wanted to try the Jalapeno Havarti Mac n Cheese too, but they were out of stock. Everything was delicious! The batter on the Chickin Basket was so Crunchy and Flavorful! It was a big portion and the buttered corn and the hot peppers/pickles and bread was a nice touch. The Ube Waffle was light and fluffy, and came with a delicious coconut syrup. So good! The Peach Cobbler was a delicious ending too. Really awesome! Everything was soooooo good, but I just can't get over that Chickin Basket! The Lemon Pepper flavor was on point, and I can't quit talking about how crispy and crunchy the batter was. One of the very best vegan meals I've had. I will be back!

When I say the best vegan food I have eaten in years. Everything was seasoned to perfection and that chicken was so crispy. Everything was amazing. It was such an honor and bonus to meet the owner who was amazing and beautiful with such a vibrant spirit. I ordered the Mac n cheese along with the fried chicken and when I say I almost went into a food coma and she comes with their alfredo pasta to taste. When I amazing all around, I’m not exaggerating. I’m definitely taking that field trip from Frisco again.
