If you need to take a break, this is a good place to stop. The parking area can handle large RVs (motorhomes or towed travel trailers). Along with a vault toilet there are informational signs and space to walk pets. No picnic tables If you have the time, there is a hiking trail, kind of a connector trail to the Continental Divide Trail which is approx. 1.6 miles up hill. There are some great views of the Scapegoat Wilderness along the way and eventually some views out towards the east. We hiked this in early June 2024 and the wildflowers were spectacular. There is a pull-off parking area along side the west bound lane (about 0.5 miles to the east) which also has trail access with great views (according to others), but as far as I am aware, no toilet.
