Vamos Pal' Cafetal

I’ve been waiting over 10 years for a true Colombian restaurant. I got tired of driving to Buford Highway for Colombian food that has continued to get worse over the years. This was my first time here, so I wanted to try as much as I could. I started with the empanadas — both beef and chicken — and they were perfectly crunchy, full of flavor, and not greasy at all. Then I had the chicharrón with arepa and WOW! It was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. The mazamorra was everything I hoped for — they even ask if you want it warm or cold — and I haven’t had anything like it here in Georgia. I also ordered the bandeja paisa: the morcilla was delicious, the chorizo had incredible flavor, the beans were thick and perfectly seasoned, and the rice was so good we ordered extra to take home.

We came here for the first time after seeing it on a few Instagram videos. Family of five. We loved it! The attention, service and food were outstanding! The ambiance is family friendly. We strongly recommend it to anyone. It was worth the one hour drive for us! We will definitely come back next time we're in this area.

As a Colombian, I am beyond excited to have a Colombian restaurant open in Kennesaw! My first impression was that the place is beautifully decorated-the wall mural inside is gorgeous, and each detail from the indoor tree to the comfortable booths made me feel happy to eat and hang out here. Now on to business- the food! So far, I’ve really liked everything I’ve tried. I usually get the empanadas as an appetizer or a tequeño (best in the area so far) and for tonight’s dinner I shared a Colombian picada and to drink I ordered myself hot aguapanela (think hot totty (you can probably request for this to include alcohol)). Service was great, and apparently now they’re going to offer breakfast daily at 8am and dancing on some Saturday nights? I’ll definitely be back for both breakfast and nig

Excellent food. Great Service. I found this randomly this Christmas when I was looking for a package Very nice inside and I shared a sample plate which was affordable and tasted very good. Look i saw comments here saying service was slow or whatever, do not be unreasonable, they literally told me they have been opened for 4 months Im puertorican but my bro in law is colombian so Im familiar with the food, it was taste and nice moritos. Support these places!!.

My husband and I were out shopping and decided to stop here for dinner. Our server was very courteous. The menu was had lots of options but wasn't overwhelming. We had a couple of appetizers: Yucatan Frita and Chicharrones Con Arepa both of them were amazing. For our entrees were ordered Punta DE Anca and Palomilla Steak and were not disappointed. We'll definitely be going back.
