Valley of the Gods B&B

Gary and Claire were enjoyable to talk with and provided a delicious breakfast. Claire accommodated my gluten-free needs. Also knowledgeable about nearby activities. Beautiful location and a cozy, rustic, comfortable house. No wifi. Takes credit card. Yes electricity (all solar!), ample heating (in the winter when we visited), and hot showers. No online presence, but you can call and set up the reservation by phone. Would recommend and hope to be back!

We had a wonderful one night stay at the B&B. We chatted with Gary about the house as we sipped on tea in the cozy living room. The house is very unique and all off-grid, which was fascinating to hear about all the off-grid elements. Ask Gary about the sun oven outside - just one of the unique items here. The entire place is very serene and special with no other buildings around. It is a unique experience. One night wasn’t enough.

Awesome place. Unfortunately, Claire has some emotional disregulation. Pleasant to screaming. It completely ruined the experience. Her partner was very pleasant.

I had never stayed in a stone house before, but was surprised to find it cool inside even when it is blistering hot outside. The views from the off grid property were unbelievable!! I am on a thirty six day road trip and I guarantee this one night stay will be one of the most memorable.

We just completed a delightful 3 night stay with Claire and Gary. What a perfect location and setting for hiking and exploring the Valley of the Gods area. The inn is cozy and rustic, and Claire's breakfasts are a highlight. If you're looking for a place to get away and relax I would highly recommend it.
