This really is a good school. It's really cheap and the acceptance rate is 100%, but I don't feel like that's reflected in it's performance. The environment is really nice, and it doesn't feel like a local community college. The programs and teachers are good, and the Holland library has everything you need. The HPC building has literally everything you could dream of for a gym, and it's free for all full time students. I'd really recommend coming here, as I don't think I've ever met anyone here with student dept. It's seriously a good school.
As a neighbor who welcomes and is tolerant of noise and loud music, I simply do not feel this way about Utah Tech University. This is not about the students, it’s about the university administration’s blatant disregard for how loud they play music and voice announcements at their sports events. It’s INSANE and unnecessary noise levels. Their sport field lighting fixtures are also SO bright even after 11:00 pm most nights. And I don’t let this affect my life, I just genuinely think it’s inconsiderate of them.
I absolutely DO NOT recommend attending. I attended fall 23/24 and I absolutely hated it, so much so that I couldn't stand it and went back home mid semester. None of the offices have been helpful and have left me to figure out tuition and other payments.
Trying to be flashy when it's not. School doesn't have good schedules. Parking is terrible and they keep making it worse. They say they're doing things to save students money, when in fact the tuition has gone up every single semester via mandatory fees. Not impressed.
This university seemed very promising. It seemed cheap and local so I decided to give it a try. I had sent them my high school diploma via email as they instructed me to do. I then kept checking the status of my application over the next couple of weeks to find that it still required my high school transcript. I then gave them a call and was helped by their amazing "one-stop" team. They said that they DID receive my transcript but for some reason it was never processed. One-stop then helped me sign up for my summer courses and then helped me make an appointment with a financial advisor and my course advisor to help me with the rest. We had scheduled meeting to which NEITHER the financial advisor or course advisor showed up to. When I tried to get ahold of both of them they were "unavailabl
