Customer Reviews
I've eaten at alot of Halal Restaurants, and this outshine them all, Ali was very kind and courteous, he showed genuine enthusiasm in making us food, the little patio area outside was very cozy, and made it feel like a restaurant, not to mention the food was absolutely outstanding, you could tell that it was made with care, I don't think either of us took a single breath once we started eating, and when we left, Ali told us how grateful he was for us coming to his food truck. If I could give you more stars I would my friend. ~Augie & Buddha
I been eating from this food truck for 2 and half months now, food always fresh and fire 🔥 the guy who run it super nice and got good vibes every time. best food truck in Austin fr, I tell everyone to try it ❤️🙌
Was in Downtown Austin and trying to find a food truck to eat at. Couldn't find anything on Google so decided to ride by UT and hit the Drag. Until I stumbled on this GEM. Prices were Reasonable and the food was DELICIOUS will MOST DEFINITELY COME BACK AGAIN.
Got in late for work trip, closest place that was open, always a little worried I'm going to get punked when I walk to a food truck...got a combo rice plate with chicken and gyro (they were very accommodating when I professed my ignorance if there was a difference between gyro and lamb); it was delicious. I am not a "salad" person but even I was compelled by the delicious and crisp portion in my plate (crisp at 11pm!). If you are a spice person you will probably want extra spicy sauce, but the portion was more than worth the money and the food was great.
I wanted a tasty gyro for lunch and Google informed this is nearby, so I walked there to find this food truck next to a disused Baskin Robbins and strip mall with no real parking. The gentleman working there was watching something on his smartphone when I approached and did not look up. However, once he put his phone down, service was friendly and prompt and he soon provided my rather expensive gyro wrap and coke. The wrap was tasty, and I appreciated it was NOT messy, despite the presence of good sauce. HOWEVER The meat was poor quality. Specifically, it was fatty and chewy which made it unpleasant by the time I finished. I would not return for a mediocre, slightly expensive meal.
